Dr Tom Tran BDSc.Hon.Qld (Dentist)

Dr Tom Tran BDSc(HONS)Qld graduated from the University of Queensland in 2002 with Honours and awarded the Carlisle C. Bastian Prize for Prosthodontics. He commenced employment immediately with Queensland Health Gold Coast District where he refined his skills in general dentistry, emergency treatment and minor oral surgery, which included extraction of wisdom teeth. After a lengthy 6 year courtship and proposing to his beautiful wife Melissa, he returned to Brisbane to commence private practice, developing his skills in most aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.  

Tom is friendly, caring and professional. Some say he is even a tad bit OCD (obsessive compulsive). He takes great pride in all the work he performs. When you meet him, you will find he also has a great sense of humour, unless it is before 10am…… and he probably talks a little too much.  

When Tom manages to take time off work, he loves most things sports related, including touch footy, cycling and basketball. He has endless hobbies (but never has enough time to do them all), including amateur photography and oil painting to name a few. But most importantly, he loves spending time with his family (even the out-laws).

Tom and Melissa have been together for just over 24 years (and married for 16 of those) and they have 3 gorgeous girls, Lily, Chloe and Ella. And yes, most people do feel very sorry for Tom.
