Dr Philip Chien BDSc.Hon.Qld (Dentist)

Dr Philip Chien BDSc(Hons) graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with 1st Class Honours and received the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence. He has completed a Master of Philosophy in Endodontic Research in 2022. He won the DPL Young Dentist Award for Professional Excellence in 2018, and has published multiple research papers in the Australian Dental Journal, the European Journal of Oral Sciences and has served as Reviewer for the Australian Endodontic Journal. He currently serves as state Secretary of the Australian Society of Endodontology Queensland.

Philip is a friendly, enthusiastic dentist who enjoys sharing his love for dentistry with his patients. Although he grew up in NZ, Philip has been in Brisbane and up north in Hervey Bay with Queensland Health to help both children and adults in urgent need of dental treatment. Philip provides treatment in general dentistry and is passionate about managing dental pain.

During his spare time, Philip is a violinist and an avid chess player.
